All dates, times, and locations will be updated and correct on the home page of this website.  

We are scoring for three person team awards this year. Please register as an individual. Teams will be registered on-site at the time of the event. Each person will compete in all three stages. The worst two shooting scores will count against the fastest two bike and run times. If you have questions send an email to schwenny200@netzero.net.

Stage One is the FBI qualification course of 50 rounds on a 5 point silhouette target. Stage One begins at the Cedar Rapids Police Department firearms range. The firearms stage will start at XXXXXXX. Shoot what you carry. All participants must present proof of current status as a certified peace officer.

Stage Two also begins at the Cedar Rapids Police Department firearms range. The bicycle stage will begin at XXXXXXX. The bicycle leg will go out on C Street and turnaround near Shueyville returning to the staging area for a total of 15 miles. The course is paved roads with small hills. The main intersections will have traffic control. Helmets are required.

Stage Three begins immediately after stage two. Participants will leave their bicycles at the staging area and return to the Old River Road for the 1.55 mile running leg out to the turnaround and back for a total of 3.1 miles/ 5 km.

Water will be available at several points during stages two and three.

Holiday Inn - 319-399-5025- 3320 Southgate Court Southwest- From I380 take the 33RD AVE SW exit, exit number 17, towards HAWKEYE DOWNS. Turn WEST onto 33RD AVE SW. Turn LEFT onto SOUTHGATE CT SW.

Cedar Rapids Police Department firearms range – Old River Road- From Holiday Inn take Southgate Court Southwest to 33rd Ave SW and turn right. Enter onto I380 southbound. Exit I380 and merge onto Highway 30 eastbound Mt. Vernon exit. Continue on Highway 30(151). Exit Highway 30 onto C Street. Turn right, northbound, onto C Street. Turn right onto Ely Road SW. Turn left onto Old River Road.

All participants are encouraged to wear t-shirts or other clothing which identifies their agency.

Registration

The entry deadline is XXXXXXXXXXX The event will be held on October 6, 2007. The entry fee Is $35 which includes the price of one t-shirt, dinner, and donation. Please indicate the size that you need. Other shirts can be purchased for $15 a piece. Shirts will be short sleeve with the IronCop logo on the front and sponsors on the back.
