We are scoring for three person team awards this year. Please register as an individual. Teams will be registered on-site at the time of the event. Officers will compete in all three stages. Civilians will compete in Stages Two and Three. One civilian will be allow on each 3 person team. The worst two shooting scores will count against the fastest two bike and run times. Stage One is the FBI qualification course of 50 rounds on a 5 point silhouette target for a possible 250 points. Each point less of 250 will add 10 seconds to the bike and run time. Stage One begins at the Cedar Rapids Police Department firearms range. The firearms stage will start at 9:00 AM. Shoot what you carry. All participants must present proof of current status as a certified peace officer. SAFETY FIRST...eyes, ears and vest required.
Stage Two also begins at the Cedar Rapids Police Department firearms range. The bicycle stage will begin at 10:00 AM. The bicycle leg will go out on C Street and turnaround near Shueyville returning to the staging area for a total of 15 miles. The course is paved roads with small hills. The main intersections will have traffic control. Helmets are required.
Stage Three begins immediately after stage two. Participants will leave their bicycles at the staging area and run out onto Old River Road for a total of 3.1 miles/ 5 km.
Water will be available at several points during stages two and three.
There are several hotels in the area.
Cedar Rapids Police Department firearms range – 2727 Old River Road- From Holiday Inn take Southgate Court Southwest to 33rd Ave SW and turn right. Enter onto I380 southbound. Exit I380 and merge onto Highway 30 eastbound Mt. Vernon exit. Continue on Highway 30(151). Exit Highway 30 onto C Street. Turn right, northbound, onto C Street. Turn right onto Ely Road SW. Turn left onto Old River Road.
Firearms Range
All participants are encouraged to wear t-shirts or other clothing which identifies their agency.

Registration
The entry deadline is June 8, 2009. The event will be held on June 13, 2009. The entry fee Is $35 which includes the price of one t-shirt, dinner, and donation. Please indicate the size that you need. Other shirts can be purchased for $10 a piece. Shirts will be short sleeve with the IronCop logo on the back.
